Grieving in Silence

Dwelling in sadness, and enveloping veil of darkness.
Chilling thoughts and formation of uneasy dread.
Fear and chaos lurk within the mind like a cloud of misjudgment.
Pushed off-balance, losing equilibrium every time the silence revisits.

Why do I fear the silence so much?
Where does my foothold disappear to with my crutch?
Is there no character development for me as such?

Bellowing from within, the heart cries out thunderously through watery channels.
Quaking through layers, from bone marrow to the epidermis canal.
Until like a hot knife through soft cheese, a measure is taken to walk the whispers away.

Walking in any direction will make the doubts go all away.
Lone wanderer on a ship ablaze, sail through engulfing flames of fate.
Let go of all misfortune, and the past for once, to present the future with no regrets.
Step into the dark, the pupils will adjust fairly.
Drench the sheets, shroud the smoke and quell the flames.
Muster your courage, harness your pain, open your heart to their names.
Venture on, grieve in silence, come out of it untamed.
